The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time by the blood of patriots and tyrants.
If being stupid allows me to believe in Him, I'd wish to be a retard. Eisenhower and G Washington should be good company.

We felt it here in Spartanburg. Very noticed, but, my top floor overhangs my lower so that may have something to do with it.

Definitely felt it here and heard some rumbling. We're around 25 miles or so west of Evans.

Hmmmm. 10:23 pm on Valentines Day, eh? Imagine: thousands of folks "getting a little" can genuinely say they felt the earth move...

Minor Earthquake Centered In Beaufort County Updated: Tue 4:01 PM, Feb 11, 2014 Ahead of the snow storm there was an earthquake. Yes, an earthquake Monday afternoon in Eastern Carolina. The U.S. Geological Survey says a 2.5 magnitude tremor was centered off Tetterton Road in Beaufort County, 9 miles east of Aurora. Several people in Beaufort and Pamlico counties said they felt the tremor or heard the boom, but no damage was reported. The USGS says the quake was located 2.4 miles underground and shook the ground around 3:00 p.m. Last June, a 2.1 magnitude earthquake shook southern Lenoir County. No damage or injuries were reported in that earthquake. http://www.witn.com/news/localnews/...entered-In-Pamlico-County-244942581.htmlMike

A 2.5 made the news? Heck, we don't even get out a bed for that size. In October alone we'll have dozens of those itty bitty ones.
