I was on the blade section a bit ago and thought I carry a knife in my pocket if I'm awake. Got me thinking what else do you guys carry that helps you out daily?

I carry a Bear&Sons or Queen sodbuster jr mostly for opening boxes cutting rope or pull string and skinning wire. I carry a zippo cause you can always use a fire for burning the ends of nylon rope so I doesn't unravel and to shrink heatshrink plus they are more windproof than a bic, and they smell so good. I also carry a solitare maglight that holds one AAA battery and a swiss tech folding pliars that has a strait and phillips screwdrivers on it on my keyring.

Hopefully this finds you well this Saturday night sir.

When I emptied my pockets and pulled the stuff off my belt to take a photo of it I see I forgot my wallet. blush

Anyway so the usual EDC blade these days is either a Buck Vantage Pro or a ZT 566.

The multitool is one of the first Waves to make it across the medicine line and the cell is about that old too - so old in fact I have to upgrade next month as my provider changed systems and it won't work anymore.

The single AA, CREE LED flashlight is an offshore model from ebay that cost all of $5 landed here in Canada and after riding in my back pocket for 3-4 years now just refuses to die.

As well as the keys in that pile, there's a little LED flashlight on the ring that got added a month ago.

The pocket change looks to be only Loonies and small change - no Toonies to show my US 'Fire mates tonight - sorry about that. wink

Anyway that's what is in my pockets or on my belt somewhere as soon as I get up in the morning.

All the best to you this weekend sir and thanks for the interesting thread.

Regards,
Dwayne

I carry a Leatherman Wingman and a Buck 288 I think, stamping is too small to read. smile Plenty of keys, one key ring has a leatherman Mini, wallet and cash. On the belt is a Ruger LCR 357, with an additional 5 rounds on a strip in the left pocket.

In my right pocket is a Kahr MK40 and in my left pocket is a Kershaw Leek assisted opening knife. That is just right now. Sometimes I also have a 45 ACP in IWB carry if I am going to ATM or questionable areas around town.

A small red Victorinox knife (one with a blade a nail file, tweezers, tooth pick and scissors) in my right pocket along with a few bucks for coffee and incidentals. Wallet in the back. Buck assisted opening in my left front. Car keys when I am away from home and outside the vehicle.

In hunting season, a fixed blade hunting knife in a scabbard on my belt.
