All metalwork done by Stan Jackson in Anchorage Alaska with full blueprint of the action, Dupont Teflon finish by Black Ice coatings, and NECG single leaf rear sight and banded front sight. To be scoped with a nightforce 2x10 in quick detach warne rings and bases.

I figured I'd be the only one on this thread to post a pic of a Marlin MR-7 in 30-06! My dad bought this when I lived in Utah and left it with me so he wouldn't have to travel with a rifle. Worked out well for me! Just wish he was still around to use it...

When I can't make up my mind which rifle to take, or if I am not sure what game may end up in the crosshairs, or what weather I may have to deal with, this is the rifle I grab. Nothing but a Remmy 700 bedded in a HSP stock with a trigger job, but it shoots straight, carries easy, and it IS a 30-06. There are scars and scrapes, but it always gets the job done.
