I stripped the black paint from both my Henry receivers. Used stripper then wet sanded with 600 and then used brass wool to remove the scratches. Took the receiver covers off to do the work. I like them better with no black. Also did the barrel bands.

What are they made of? Aluminum alloy I'm guessing? I like them better that way too! Good work.
