We had a range day Sunday. A little windy when we started but not bad.
My son wanted to try some new loads in his Stevens .223. These are the same loads that shot bughole groups in my T3. 50 grain VMax, 26.5g Benchmark, 2.276", CCI 400 primers, once-fired Remington brass.
We warmed up at 50, just to get close to zero. He had been shooting 40 grain VMax so the zero was a little off with the new loads.
We got him on paper at 100, then taped the holes at the cease-fire. Cade settled down and put three shots in 0.496".
Good thing I found an 8-lb jug of Benchmark!
