Is there a forum moderator? Do they monitor the threads and enforce code of conduct rules??

I saw the thread right after it was posted, but it took me 13 minutes to stop chuckling after I read "code of conduct rules"

Gotcha, apparently some forums are incredibly strict on this kind of stuff. Reason I ask is when someone pops off with crazy talk and I respond back, I seem to be the one getting a moderator infraction..... I just needed to know if this forum is basically a digital thunderdome or moderated closely to the rules agreed with when registering. I can dish out a digital smack down as good as any but either way I will keep it classy and respectful.

A few years back what was considered civil behavior seem to depend on your zip code (in my opinion)
Lately it's seemed extremely fair to me.
Maybe that's because I stopped attending every fight I was invited to and let the little chit go.

Your biggest issue there is street cred.

You go John J on a regular that was just being cheeky, and your likely to get worked over like Ethiopian road kill.

Anything else is based on style points. Like figure skating except with spikes in the toes.

Yea I can tell some here like to sit back and take pop shots just to see if they can get a rise or start a tussle for entertainment for the night. I am not really into that. I was a forum moderator on other forums in the past and grew very tired of dealing with that crap because I had to.

I am more into the forum for comoradery, sharing ideas and shooting experiences. I like to keep it respectful and considerate. Maybe some good nature humor.
There are ALOT of members here. I can't tell if some members are teasing and being lighthearted or really just being a defensive argumentative goat because they can???
I generally try to give someone I don't know the benefit of the doubt but either way, I just role past it and move on.
