Actually, it's the same job but a better position. She will now be making $4 an hour more on top of only working 24 but getting paid for 36. Also changing to days instead of nights so she won't have to spend all of her off days sleeping. Working less and making more money, what could be better? She was also talking today about buying me a new Kimber Montana. She must have been in a good mood.

Thanks Scott. It will be great since her days have been so broken up the last year that she has really been stressed out. She has been working a 12 hour night shift then one or two days off and another night shift. All she has been able to do for the last year is work and sleep. Now she will work 2 back to back and have 5 off and make more money doing it.
The catch is that she will work every Sat and Sun but she has only had about 5 Sundays off in a year anyway. I hate for her to work every Sunday but we won't miss wed church and she won't be nearly as stressed.

Dave You got that right. She is the best person I've ever met and generous of her time and money. Never gives anyone a hard time except me, when I need it. She was at a family gathering once and a cousin stood up and started saying how much someone there had done for him when that person loaned him $5000 to get him back on track. He went on and on about how good this person was. We were all wondering who he was talking about when he named my wife. She was as surprised as anybody. She had actually forgotten about loaning him $5000 dollars. You know, he never did pay any of that back, even after that speech.LOL

Good for her!! Now you'll have more time to chase mama around the couch. I like the sound of that. With three kids at home and work schedules it's been mostly zombie sex for a while. It would be very nice to actually be awake for a change.

I worked a shift where I had to work every week-end. Found I really like it. Whether grocery shopping or deer hunting, fewer people to deal with week days.
