Local high priced shop has a BL-22 GRII octagon that has captured my interest.

Are the triggers as bad as I am reading about with not much you can do with them?

They can be stiff, hear some smiths can work them over. I would not let a trigger hold you off, but it's ashame we live in such a litigious society...

I could be wrong but I don't believe lawyers are to blame for the BL22 trigger. I had a late 70's BL22 and it was horrible, like 13-15lbs horrible. First time I fired it I caught myself looking for a safety....

Like mine?

Yes, the trigger is horrible but the rest of it is beyond first class! I have shot mine less than fifty rounds and some day will take it to a good smith and get trigger lightened a little. Very accurate and smooooth.

The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.

That's the one. So tempted.
