Since I am stocking up, what powder do you like for the heavy weights in the 223AI?

For the 75gr Vmax, Varget and H4895 have been the most accurate in my 1in8 twist.

I'm driving H-335,with single digit SD's and it meters like it has eyes.
Am driving a 2.480" COAL,with 75 A-Max kissing lands behind 26.0grs for 3100fps+.
The temp sensitivity issue, hasn't been realized,in my locale..............................

Heaviest I have used so far is the 64 gr Win PP. Varget and 748 both work very well.

I thought you ran the H-335 up to 55grainers, and then moved to RE-15 for the heavier bullets?

What made you change your mind? I thought you'd like to "rule the world" with RE-15 ? ............. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

'15 is my landslide favorite,if choosing one.
It also does good in the 223/223AI,but '335 dumps easier and offers a little more speed, without accuracy puking.
I really like '2200,but am down to 16lbs and am afeared to shoot it too hard and lament running out.........................

I don't know anything about '2200 ... but I do have both RE-15 and H-335 ... I was about to load up some 75g A-Max's using RE-15 ... but I'll do it with 335 instead ... thanks for the heads-up ...

Components go faster, through rifles that really deliver.
The appeal of a great rifle,is something I cain't fend.
Damned 223AI,is the worst of the bunch....................
