I have a Grey Wolf in 338 wm and was wondering if I rechamber to 338 ultra will the factory barrel (24.5") get me any gains over my 338 wm or would it need a 26"? I was hoping to get 3200 fps with a 210gr. My 338 wm im doing 3020fps with the 210 ttsx now.

Why go thru all that head ache and expense for 180 fps? My guess you are going to need a 26 inch barrel, I when thru this some years back except I did it with a 330 Dakota and a Ruger # 1 Single Shot, that I had re barreled, it came out to 28 inches an would shoot 210 gr Barnes X at around 3300 fps there a bouts with a stout load of R-22. I ended up selling the gun, of all the 338's around and I even had a 340 for a time, the 338 Winchester Mag. is the best one of the lot. But since you live in one of the best places on earth, maybe you need that extra 1.5 to 2 inches of flatter trajectory over the Winnie over the usual distances one shoots big game. Or it could be you are just one of the Rifle loonies in which case go to it, but it did happen if there are no photos or Chronograph readings. I am very glad that I don't do this sort of thing anymore, but then again I am not young either, and when I was young how I chased the purple dragon of finding the perfect rifle cartridge combo.
