I have a Caucasian Mountain Dog that needs a good home with good family and great fences. He is a gentle giant, not a mean attack dog. A rare breed in this country and probably worth about three grand. This dog has been socialized with hundreds of people. As a bread they are rather headstrong but is gentle with kids and the elderly alike. He weighs somewhere around 120 pounds now an at around twenty months old is still growing. He could easily reach 180. Good with all the farm animals, never bothers chickens, ducks, sheep or horses. Would make a great livestock protection dog. Offer a good home and haul him off. It breaks my heart but we cannot keep him.

Dang, he's a good looking boy. Hope a good person here has the room for him. Our house is almost too small for the three dogs we have.

He's a gorgeous pup!
I'd take him in a heartbeat if I didn't live in the land of brutal summers and owned any land...

Surely, there's got to be other farms up that way that could use a dog of his pedigree to watch over their flocks...

If I lived closer I'd take him. We had to put our Chessie down last year and pretty much every day my boys are asking about getting another dog.

Told the wife about him, but she has been looking for a female dog, and a small one at that, but she did say how would one get him from the states to here, maybe I should work on her some more.

Terry and Scott What would it cost to ship the dog. I'd chip in a hundred to get it started, maybe a few more dog lovers would put in a few dollars.

Hello Scott,
Why can't you keep him?
Looks like about an ideal dog for your farm there.

Wow, He is beautiful.
We raise goldens and I already have seven dogs. I have to keep the males separated or they will get into it so another male is out of the question. Not to mention mixing breeds.
I really like the looks of him though and hope he ends up in a good home.
Best of luck.

But they didn't do squat to the cougar when it came around.
