Older model 7-08 with the 18.5" barrel. Blueing is great except for a little rubbing on muzzle crown and bolt knob. Barrel is also magnaported. Bolt face looks good but jeweling is rubbed on side from the rear race. The stock has quite a few chips in the paint coat but none in the actual stock itself. Definitely needs repainted. Redfield rings and bases as well. Just over 5 lbs. Thanks for any help.

Is this the KS stock with a cheekpiece and a round knob,
or an FS stock with no cheekpiece and standard pistol grip?

What makes you think that this is a "pound'r"?
Sounds like a basic Brown's FS fiberglass stock. The FS stocks are excellent in their own right....

I'd Like To Find a Trailer Load Of 7-08 In a Brown Stock For $425. I'd Say $650 Whould Be a Buy.

You guys are dreaming if you think this rifle is only worth 425.00 with the stock included. The stock alone is damn near worth that.

The gun has a B&L Balvar 2.5-8 on it in steel Red field bases and it weighs 5.75 lbs with scope. I assume its a Brown! How would I know for 100% certain.? Its light as hell though!!!!! I got 3 model 7's so thinking of letting this go.

Yep sure was. Shot it today and it just has too much recoil for my daughter. Shot moa with 2 different 3 shot groups with 120 nbt's. Gonna just use one of my other model 7's. I shoot Lh so then gun was strictly for her. Not sure im even gonna get rid of it. If i do i think I'm gonna keep the scope though. Nice little clear piece of glass.

I have had a few of these and depending on condition I would think $750 to $925 for a like new one, buts it's only worth what someone is willing to pay.

Now after a few pms I'm not 100% positive its a FS. The stock looks rough through the paint like it was a blank that needs sanded down finished then painted. I'm positive its a Brown just not sure if it was added to the gun or not. I'm gonna ask 625.00 shipped from me to your FFL. Or 600 FTF. First I'll take it gets it. I will send as many detailed pics as I can from my phone to anyone that is interested. Thanks for all the help I've gotten on this.

I retired from the Johns Manville asbestos pop tart factory in ‘59, and still never made the connection.—-Slumlord
