Happy Birthday Pammy!
Well we took the Ice Castle on it's maiden voyage to Lake of the Woods this weekend. The fishing was slow but we got a few walleyes to eat and Special K got to catch and release a slot fish. About a 25" or so. (Couldn't find my tape measure at the time)
A good time was had by all

Glad to hear that I was going to ask you if you had it yet when I logged on, and lo and behold you posted you used it. How do you like it? The fanciest I ever got is a six gallon bucket to sit on cause it is just a little taller than a 5 gallon bucket. I can't imagine a castle like that. Bill

The best part is, our youngest son (who has never shown much interest in fishing) actually had a good time too! If it took getting this fish camper to make him want to crawl out of the basement and away from the play station, well thats just a bonus! The reason we haven't had it out sooner is because there is just too much snow on the local lakes and it's been brutally cold. Up on LOW, the resorts plow roads and spots for wheel houses to set up so it makes it pretty conveniant.

Oongrats to your folks, Mule.
The wife and I have our 50th coming up this fall.
45* and sunny, today. vacuumed out the car this morning for the first time since thanksgiving, If I empty out the vacuum I could sell a ton of salt to the county.
Even got the Xmas lights off of the porch eaves Can't get close enough to the rest of the house to get the other strings off yet.

Our dog went out yesterday afternoon to do her business. We blew out an area under her cable run for her, but for some reason she decided to venture out into the deep snow yesterday. 'Looked like something out of a cartoon-one second she was up on top of the snow, the next she just dropped entirely into the stuff-all that was sticking up was the tip of her tail! Pixie the Wonderbeagle's kind of spoiled-she really doesn't like getting her belly wet-she set a new world's speed record busting out of there and running back to the house!

She's a very spoiled dog. Won't go if there's a strong wind either?

It is 67 right now. Most of the winows are open and the fresh air is great, but it is supposed to start raining soon, and turn to snow by tomorrow about noon. Temps are supposed to be down to the single digits in the net couple of days. I'm sick of this crap. Bill

Damn,I worked in the yard yesterday in a t shirt and flip flops and got sun burned on my face. I just HATE sweating in March. It got all the way to 79 degrees yesterday.
