So, I saw these mentioned on another thread, in another sub-forum. In reading through their website, I became interested in their hunting bullets, especially their 9.3 offerings. The 270-gr. bullet looks like it could be a candidate for use in Africa next year. Had been looking for a bonded bullet in this weight for a while now.
Can anyone provide personal experiences and hand-loading insights on these bullets? In terms of performance, are they comparable to anything else out there - Woodleigh PP, Norma Oryx, Swift A-Frame, North Fork, etc?
Thanks in advance.
I'm becoming more tolerant of intolerant people.

Contact Ted aka Yukoner on this forum. That's him at the bottom page with that nice Yukon griz in the photo section of the Matrix site. Ted is a really good guy and very knowledgeable. He'll give you the straight goods.
Tell him Mike aka 7 STW recommended you to speak with him.

I have shot quite a few Matrix bullets . Great accuracy, good weight retention in gelatin but I have yet to shoot any game with the bullets.

Very accurate, and the bonded models penetrate well; they hold on to their front end so you get lots of damage, but less penetration than say a Partition or Accubond. I'm a fan.

This is the recovered 270 gr 9.3 bullet from the big grizzly. One shot broke near shoulder, mushed up two vertebrae, and was recovered in the far shoulder with greater then 90% weight retention. They just plain work. Ted
