I am selling my Ruger Number 1 in 300 Holland and Holland. Or Super 30 for you loonies out there. I have never fired the rifle and am the original owner. She has some very beautiful wood on her. I do not think this is a Boddington rifle. I have looked all over it and can not find his name anywhere on it or the box. The gun comes with the original box, the scope and rings pictured if you want them. It also comes with one bag of brass. I did not count the brass but it is over 40, likely over 50 pieces. If you want a hard count I will do it. Here is the link to my album with the rifle. http://s1220.photobucket.com/user/micky_blue_8085/slideshow/Guns/Ruger%20No1%20300%20HHI want $1450 shipped in the lower 48, AK and HI will be 25 bucks more.

Micky,
It does not have the Boddington checkering, it is blued, not matte blued, doesn't look like Circasssian (But is very nice Walnut!!) so I would also say no to the Boddington.
How long is the barrel?
Please share the serial number with some X's also for dating purposes.
Ex. 133-23XXX
Very nice rifle & scope so with the brass also, I would say very good deal.
Mitch

That is a very nice No 1. I have one like it also on 300 H&H and it shoots 3 in 3/4" all day long. Someone will get a great rifle.

Very nice rifle, have one just like it. And like MissouriEd's it's a shooter.

I'm the third guy here with the same model #1 300H&H, and I'm deeply in love with it. Shoots and looks great and easy to load for with 180gr NAB's. I'll be hunting with it this Fall in Wyoming for elk.
Hope it sells soon. It'll make someone pretty happy.

$1200 is a steal for this fine rifle. I have one and would be hard pressed to let it go for this.
Someone needs to buy this. These are fine hunting rifles!!!
