What are these made of? Are they plastic like the BC's or are they aluminum?

What are these made of? Are they plastic like the BC's or are they aluminum? They're made of a polymer/plastic. Very thick, very tough.

I'm sold, if they will stand up to the tough use magnumdood puts them thru, they should last us regular guys a lifetime..
