Looking for some suggested load data. 200 grain barnes tsx and 225 grain partitions are what I have been shooting.

Thanks

I shoot and prefer the Partition, but not with TAC.

That's kinda why I'm asking. When I put the Barnes data in quick load it's like way over max. Quickload has it's problems but it's usually not this far off.

A friend and I both had major pressure signs by the time we got to 62gr TAC with the 200gr TSX. Both in factory Remingtons.

If you get tired of trying TAC, try H4895 (not IMR4895)

It is the best powder in my 350RM by a long shot. (pun intended)

Bolt lock up has kept me shy of 61 grs. of tac with 225 Sierra's. 2720fps. is plenty for me.

I'm currently pushing the 200 tsx around 2750 with a max load of R17. It shoots really well about 1/2" out of my encore with mgm barrel. You would think that would be good enough lol. I just keep looking at the barnes data at 2900 fps. I'll find out tomorrow after a morning turkey hunt.

Did some testing today. The velocity is there for sure. 62.5 grains was running 2925. The accuracy was not. The primers were starting to flatten and slightly crater so no way i was going to 64 grains. I was pretty close to barnes max velocity anyway.
