Another thread and Steelhead got me thinking.
When's the last time you were pulled over?
Last one I remember would have been 97 or so. I was flying down a back country HWY at 3 am with some friends. Speedo was somewhere between 85mph and 0 mph (didn't go higher)
Cop going the other way nabbed me
Cop: Do you know how fast you were going? Me: Honestly - don't have a clue, just going home Cop: I don't know either but it sure as hell wasn't 45!
Gave me a verbal warning.
Had my license 20 years now, never received a moving violation, never been in an "at fault" accident. CDL 15 years - dunno how many miles as I don't drive regular but it's well into the 6 figures for total miles driven.
Accident free.

Somewhere around 750,000 miles ago. I've driven coast to coast, Florida to Alaska and back again a few times. As I said in the other thread my last time was 1991.

Not sure...maybe 18 years or so ago.
Scratch that; that's the last time I got a ticket. I've been pulled over twice in that time but issued warnings.

Last summer I was pulled over on the way home from work. Town cop said I was driving erratically. What I was doing was straightening out the curves on a twisty road when there was no oncoming traffic. No citation.

1979, rolled through a stop sign with a cop setting on the other side of the intersection.
I told him I didn't know how I could be so stupid either.

When's the last time you were pulled over?
20 years ago. Speed trap in a 15 mph zone. Cop said, "Know why we're here?" I said, "To catch speeders?" He shook his head. "Homeowners' Association. Funny thing, the only speeding tickets I've written today are for people who live in this neighborhood." He let me off with a verbal warning.

Maybe 10 or 20 years ago. Got a minor speeding ticket. Paid it thru the mail. Not a big deal.

I got a ticket for an illegal left turn on my seventeenth birthday. That was my one and only moving violation. Last time stopped was last year when a nice state officer told my I had a brake light out. No ticket, just wanted to let me know.

Heck, I'll be the first to bust the bubble! 2003---95+ on the Dulles Toll Road. Ticketed with aggressive hauling azzzzz. Bob's ex-partner saved me from an automatic 7 days in the hoochcow and general population! Virginity still intact for, which I am grateful!

Last time I got pulled over was in the late 80's. I got a ticket for doing 65 in a 55mph zone on a Nevada highway that's now has a 65 mph speed limit. Can I get that ticket reversed?

Earlier this month I drove the company truck with expired plates for about a week and I was dead certain I was going to get pulled over for it. It seemed like there was a LEO behind every bush and at every intersection until I got my new tags. Didn't happen, though.
About 2 years ago on my way to work in the company truck.
I had just gotten off I-75 and was driving the mile from the exit up to our shop. About halfway to the shop, on a slight downhill stretch, I see a Cheboygan county Sheriff's car go by. I looked at the speedo and, uh-oh, 62 mph. I tap my brakes to slow and that was all it took. I'm sure he'd have kept going if I hadn't tapped my brakes.
I was halfway to the door of the shop by the time he pulled in to the parking lot, no flashing lights, just pulled in and rolled down his window and asked for my DL. I gave him my DL and CPL and we chatted for a moment while he ran my info.
He asked if I was carrying, I said I wasn't, he handed me my cards, wished me a good day and drove off.

Three or four years ago I got pulled over one night by a county deputy because one of my license-plate lights was out. Verbal reminder to fix it and I was on my way.

Last ticket was November 1990. Clocked at 95 in a 55, he wrote me for 70.
In the last three years I have been stopped 5 times in my BMW M3. Always in the middle of nowhere Tx and clocked at 72 or 73 in a 70 MPH zone.
No tickets from the officers, just written warnings.
