Was wondering how many of you guys have them. I recently purchased a 1948 cj2a. Has had a ton of stuff done to it, but has been sitting and not run for 8 years.Have it going now, still trying to get all the dust /dirt off of it.! Will post pics soon, would like to see some of yours.
My 1st 4x4 was a '50 CJ3A. I rebuilt the engine and drove it for years but I had to tow it when going hunting. Then one year I towed it on slick roads. Screw that stuff! I sold it and got a full sized Blazer.

Got this from a friend who had a ton of $$ in it, and after most of completion, lost interest due to several health issues. Its been sitting for 8 yrs, filled with empty wine/beer bottles, an inch of dirt and dust, hornet nests ,rats, etc. Took me a couple weeks to get it back up to running, replacing fluids,tires/wheels,and lots of soap! Still a few things to do,but going good, and a blast to drive.
He was using the powers of the winch for good rather than evil.
lol.
He was rescuing stranded ice fishing houses out on the frozen tundra we call "lake of the woods"
Deep snow has left many ice fishing houses stranded far from the few plowed roads remaining out on the ice. Nathan was using the old winch and it's ginormous spool to reach out to these houses off of the ice road so they could be winched in to the road.
The armature threw a coil out of one of the slots and she locked up.

I had a 53 CJ3A that looked just like that. Same color even. Had a 289 Ford it. That's the only vehicle that I've ever regretted selling.
46 2a with a 3b windshield, on an MB frame. Chevy V6, SM420 trans, D44's with TracLoc's and 5:38's
Not that it matters, but I think that windshield is from a 3A, not a 3B. The 3B had the higher hood and the windshield was cut higher to fit it, like this pic. It didn't have the vent.
