Only powder I tried in my 1-8rot .22-250 is H4350 with the 75 gr amax. It works great. Im down to a can and a half and unable to find more. I bought 3 cnas of IMR 4350 as I've read its an almost straight across powder only less temp stable. I'm going to work up a load with it when I need to, but am curious if anyone else has or is using IMR 4350 to power their fast twist .22-250's and how do you all like it? Thanks, Rob.

Just my experience but I have been playing around with this combo for a few years.......
I gave up on the 75gr A-Max with the 22-250 or 22-250AI, works awesome with the 223,223AI,22BR etc.
With a 22-250 or 22-250AI I have found the Berger 80grVLD to be the best bullet in every barrel that I have had chambered with a 1-8" twist barrel.
Tried the 4350's several times but the two best powder's for me have been RL19 and IMR4831.

with a batch of testing with one having a one in 7 twist...using the major 75, 77 and 80 grain bullets, I thought the best powder for velocity and accuracy would be the 4350, RL 19, RL 17 group....
it wasn't!
I was surprised as hell, but I don't think the chronograph and the target boards play favorites....
the best powders for velocity and accuracy combined were IMR 4895, IMR 4064, RL 15, AR Comp and Varget...
go figure...

That would be an understatement if I had the same results as you did, but your chronograph and target boards seem to always play different favorites than anyone else. go figure...

ya know... the criticism my chronograph seems to have gotten, has lead me to verify its results along side those of friends that own Pacts and Oehlers.... and for some reason on those days, my chrony must be on its best behavior as, those other chronographs seem to get pretty much the same readings...
and it seems like another "internet standard protocol", that if someone gets different results that the reader gets, then the other guy MUST BE or IS totally wrong....right along with there has be something wrong with his rifle, its scope, his technique, his mind, his intelligence, his dog, his family... his existence...etc etc etc
just more things in life to "Go Figure"......
Thanks for your thoughtful insight...
now I am off to shoot my chronograph, throw my rifle in the river, get rid of all of the bullets and powders that give me the results you don't think they should be giving...
