I have a guy wanting to sell me this rifle. The production date is 1923. I'd guess it's around 70%. I have no idea what real market value is. I have a blue book, but don't necessarily believe it. It's a 30-30 I believe.

Picked up a 1924 SRC, 32 W.S. about 6 months ago for $750.00. Would rate it at least 70%, wood (walnut, not gumwood) and metal is all original as are the front and rear sights. Bore is also nice. The SRC rear 'ladder' sight is worth at least $150.00.

I don't know yet, but based on what I bought from him yesterday, I can doo pretty good. I'm trying to get my ducks in a row before I meet up with him again, [Linked Image]

That's a pretty nice looking SRC, not all beat to hell. Doesn't look like it has the ladder rear sight though. I'd say it's worth around what Pokonojack gave for his but don't know if the rear sight is an issue. I'm no expert so don't know what year they quit putting those on, but thought it was after '23.

If it is a 25-35 you can expect to pay more.

Believe that the rear ladder sight on M94 SRC was used until serial# 1,000,000 when Winchester changed the location of the rear dovetail.

A ramp front sight was used with non-ladder type rear sights....this rifle's rear sight is not correct....

If it's close to that you still got a good price
