A dear friend passed away about a month ago. To some he was a cranky old cuss. To those of us that knew him, he was just an honest man who spoke his mind. He was helping me work up handloads for an elk hunting trip with my dad. Unfortunately all my brass was at his house where we were loading. Along with all the testing data. Was upset about it at first, but then I realized if that was the cost of knowing him, so be it. Jerry, you are missed by many. Time to start working on loads and hope I remember half of what you taught me. I know you will be there in spirit on the hunt.

Condolences on the passing of your friend. We should all be so lucky or blessed to have some one remember us after we pass as you are remembering your friend Jerry.

Can you not contact his wife and arrange to retrieve your components? Does she know you? Possibly she may need some help to dispose of his things and you could offer.

Jerry was divorced years ago and has one brother he hasn't spoken to in years. He didn't even show up for his funeral. Like I say, if that was the cost, so be it. He was a good friend and a great man. Now on to applying what he taught me and finding some brass.
