I've got one just like it -- only mine is pretty well used and not near that pretty anymore. Free bump.
I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.

Thanks all. You won't find many in this condition; it's basically as mint as possible, not a single mark in the wood or metal. Bore is pristine like the exterior.

One thing I have noticed about mine is that it is very forgiving on the ammo you use. It will shoot bugholes with just about anything you use. I have a newer 1710 K DL that will not do that.
Gun Shows are almost as comical as boat ramps in the Spring.

A much nicer rifle compared to the current cost cutting models from Anschutz. Shame what they make now compared to the quality they offered. Great example of the good old days.

Well the 1710 K DL is not a lowly Annie for sure. It is a 54 action. But the older (1978 West German)Savage-Annie just seems to be built better. Feels better. I do not run a patch down the tubes very often, but when I do, you can feel the difference in the barrels. Smoother and tighter towards the muzzle. Can't explain it. It just shoots better. Someone here may know about the older barrels and how they were made back then vs now. The only solvent/lube I have ever used in my Annies is Kroil. I was told to do that way back by an old German Diesel Injector rebuilder from the old country. I think that makes a difference.
