Re: .243, I found a box at Walmart, though I still will have to scope it and try it at the gathering. Is there is cheap .243 Win ammo?

Are the Guitar Fish good eating?

There is "cheaper" .243 ammo. I haven't seen "cheap" ammo in a couple of years. grin

Ugh, as it's often the case, good news is accompanied with bad news.

The good news is that I finally got a job. The bad news is that my schedule is all reconfigured and my family won't be able to attend this year.

Really wanted to make this event after I couldn't make the hog hunt.

Congratulations on the new job.

Looks like a bunch of us have had to bail.

Hopefully Ed will be most generous and host another one of these in the coming year.

Hope everyone has a great time.

I would Sponxx but she has school Friday and I'm on shift at the FD Sunday. That's why I was going to come Friday morning and leave about lunch time on Saturday.
Really disappointed, I've met several of the guys who are going and was looking forward to meeting the folks I haven't met before.

CCCC & his bride are bringing the paper plates, cups, and eating utensils. We have several rolls of paper towels, but it never hurts to have extras. grin

Mark,

When I saw that you had gotten the job I figured our plans would change. No one would love more to see you here than I, but you need to take care of your family first.

We'll get together one of these days. That's a promise.

Agreed my friend. I'm hoping to maybe get the chance to swing your way on my own if need be after things are back into a routine.

Wish you were here!

Pics will be posted later. Good news is, no one has fallen into the fire nor the ponds. Yet. grin

I hope y'all are having a ball! Wish "The Warden" and I could have made it!
I'm replacing a mile of fence - blown over by weeds & wind (hadn't planned on that THIS year) then have another mile + of interior fence to replace (same issue)
Have fun & pray for "The Warden" and me!
