Oh for Shame... That shot on the left - real coyote would have run of into a ditch and required a dispatch next day by a friend and a caterpillar to burry it. Don't think you can post posts like that and not have people take notes. One of these years I am going to make the Icebraker.

Nice to finally see it. And a different camo pattern too!

I know about the rodeo to which you refer, but I believe you're misreading the target here. What looks like a hip hit is probably just the mark made by bullet fragment side scatter hitting the head of a mounting bolt.

When I shot the group, I could see that splash through the scope, and thought I had one go left and right. Always nice to walk up on a group and see it's better than you thought it was from the rifle. The noise is about the same as a .22LR rifle.

I'm impressed by you guys who shoot accurately/precisely at distance in the wind.

Nice shooting! I like the rifle setup as well.
Those rebar target stands are quite handy. I have several that I leave out all year and can take down quickly for bush-hogging. Old firehose is what I hang my plates with.
Now with even more aplomb

Sweet stick Pat, and excellent shooting.... par for the course.
Side note: for those who are unfamiliar with JC a Steel Targets... that's about a half size coyote silhouette...
You better pray to the God of Skinny Punks that this wind doesn't pick up......

My mistake. scenarshooter, I thought, that was good counting the shot I misread. Going back corrected - chapeau. All I can say.
