Looking at some, I read a review where one particular brand did not fit inside the 84M action. I searched but couldn't find what the recommended guide was. What are you guys using?
What rod do you use with it?

I have a guide that I picked up from Midway. It has a Al body and plastic end. Sorry I don't know a part number on it. It fits the 84M but the tapered plastic end that seals into the cylinder catches on the ejector when you try to take it out. Since this part threads onto the body, you have to hold it in the action while turning the body from the back to thread it off then remove the body. It sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is and doing it is no big deal. I think it is this one. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/815732/tipton-universal-bore-guide?cm_vc=ProductFinding
I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all. Jack O'Connor

There is a smaller diameter collar you can slip on in front of the locking one, that prevents hanging on the ejector....

I like my Possum Hollow guides. Get the solvent port, as well.
