How do you extinguish the Flashing Email Indicator. I searched for an answer and the FAQ's said
It means that you have unread Private Messages. When you hover over this image it should display how many unread Private Messages that you have.
Nothing happens when I do.

Click on the icon and it ill take you to your private messages. Then you can open each message individually.

Welcome to the 'fire. Mine flashed constantly whether I have unread messages or not. I just assumed that it was meant to flash all the time. twofish

Mine does the same. I've never been able to extinguish it even after opening all the messages. I just ignore it now.

Try deleting or reading your messages, then log out and log back in. You might try deleting your cookies too. On the Tool Bar, Click on TOOLS. At the bottom of the drop down menu, click on Internet Options. A screen will come up and towards the bottom, your will see a box that says DELETE.
Another screen will come up and check the top four boxes. Then click APPLY.
This is for Windows 7. Others may differ a little.

My 24hr friend has the same issue, according to Rick the owner it's a glitch in the software, it will be fixed I heard.
