Anyway, way off topic here. I called or e-mailed and complained about some things on the new web page. I got an e-mail with in 30 minutes. New Record!!!! One thing they were working on and hoping to have up within a day or 2, which was Hunter Testimonials and sending photo's. The other thing was DWM's e-mail as I always like to have a list with me in the unit I am in. She said it was a no go because they move around so much. Well change them or keep them the same. If I want to get a hold of Joe Kidd, His e-mail mail should get me to Joe Kidd. Still playing with it, but was impressed with the response time especially so close to tag deadline.

I'm with Harry Reid on this. It is a great site, and a lot of older folks just can't use the internet.

Just pitiful.(WEBSITE)
I feel the State of Colorado is commingling monies from the Parks Dept with the Dept of WILDLIFE... Which was represented by the state government would not happen when the two organizations merged. DOW is independently funded from hunters/outdoorsman/fishermen The parks dept is state funded....tax dollars........ More pitiful!

If an audit discovered this, it would cost them a big chunk of their budget. They would lose their Pittman-Robertson and Dingell-Johnson matching funds from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. These funds match state expenditures up to 3 to 1, federal to state, for a variety of wildlife and fisheries management activities and services.

I was told my 1DWM and another high ranking DOW employee that it was something us hunters and fishermen needed to watch and make sure didn't happen. So, evidently they are concerned as well. We all need to keep our heads out of the damn sand, because we know people can cook the books. You should be able to request any info on where the money is going. Just not sure it will be accurate.
