Sufferin' all of it so I can cross the Albermarle and Croatan Sounds,..cross over to the Oregon Inlet,..hold my breath while going over the Bonner bridge,.. then drive down to the ferry and let it ride my car to Ocracoke.
Yeah,...the sun pops out and alla sudden, I'm goin' to Carolina in my mind,..
Was on Ocracoke a couple of weeks ago. Took a ferry down from the north and did the reverse of the route you mention. Gorgeous weather, sand like sugar.
