Guys, do any of you know if the newer mod.70s that come with 1pc. bottom metal will accept 2pc. bottom metal? I have a nice syn. stock I'd like to be able to use, but it is inletted for the 2pc. floorplate. I was wondering if I could find a used 2pc. set-up, if it would work on the FN. Thanks, John

I think you would at least have to have the third hole drilled and tapped between the trigger guard and the magazine cut out. I believe the newer guns only have two holes.

And it shouldn't take too much hoggin out to use the original 1-piece metal on that 2-piece inletted stock.
