Is there is Longbeard in 20 as well? I may be mistaken, but I think I saw some at walmart this past weekend. I just breezed by while looking for 22 ammo.

I got a tom last weekend at about 35 yds. Plain old 2 3/4 number 6 high brass. I've never tried any of these fancy shotgun shells. Are they really worth it?

We ran 3 inch copper plated federal 6s in 12 ga. That was deadly every last time out to 60 yards, and past that the issue was the pellets ran out of energy.
Only shot probably 10 birds from 50-60, but your load shows a good pattern for 40 for sure. Not sure its a lot better than proven load/choke combos that have been around for a long time, but its sure not a bad load at all. Will have to see if I can try some for grins one day.
Haven't shot a turkey with a shotgun in over 10 years appx.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

I've been a diehard Hevishot ahooter for several years, and this stuff really impressed me for lead. I'm interested to see what it will do through a star dot, or indian creek choke tube
