I am thinking about selling this rifle and have no idea what to ask for it. Its a Model 700 ADL with the synthetic stock and its NIB and never been shot or scoped. I have two identical rifles and don't need two of the same so I am thinking about flipping this into something else. I am negotiating a deal right now for a Ruger No. 1 in 6mm and I could put what I get from the 243 into that rifle.

Any thoughts are appreciated! I just wanted to get a good idea of value before I took it to the classifieds

Depends on how serious you are about moving it. see lots of stuff in the classifieds bumped several times by the poster with no other responses. obvious answer...item seriously over priced.
In answer to your question specifically, Walmart carries this rifle, usually in stock here locally for $429 regular price. local Bi-mart runs them on sale occasionally for around $380. hope this helps.

The ADL is 379.00 at Academy every day.

I might be interested in it Drum if you figure out a price. WalMart has the scoped versions down here for $400. I've been thinking of building another fast twist .243 for pronghorn. Sales tax or transfer fee is about the same around here.
