Aw man, I was going to ask you!

Well, this thread is dying and the 7mm-08 seems to have won by a pretty good margin over the 7x57/7mm Mauser/257 Rigby. One of my favorites, the Bob was left behind with the 6.5x55. cool

So my quest for a rifle in 7-08 begins. If anyone has more suggestions in platform, post 'em up!

I will post a pic of the rifle in 7-08 when it is ready to hunt.

I just love the Fire. grin

Pick the rifle that really pulls your rope and then worry about the chambering. If that rifle is available in 7-08, you've scratched two itches for the price of one, kinda like marrying a world-class chef that really knows how to, .........well you know.

7-08 is just like the 308, except it shoots lighter bullets slower.

If forced to go 7-08, original BDL configured Mountain Rifle. I (sometimes regrettably) sold mine to my brother in law.
