Anyone loading Rel 17 in the 375 H&H?
I have three pounds of the stuff.....:-)
and a recently acquired Sako A III in that chambering.

I have no doubt it will work. Just need some data.
It's obviously somewhere in between Rel 15 and 19 in burn rate.

It works real well in my.375AI, however may be a tad slow for an H&H. The burn rate is very similar to 4350, that should be a good place to start. Good Luck! memtb

Burn rate is similar to 4350 but it is much less bulky. I could never get enough 4350 in a 375 H&H case without really, really compressing it. RL17 will fit with room to spare. Not sure where to find published data, but look at 375 Ruger data and start a couple grains below starting charges for it and work up. Steve

I use 77.5 GRS. of RE-17 with 300gr. bullet in 375 Ruger.
Nothing like a Remington 700xcr.

74 grains of RL 17 produces 2500 FPS with Northfork 300 grain softs and solids in my 375 H&H's. It is very accurate also.

I shoot it as well in my .375 H&H. I'll have to check data but I shoot the 300 gr A Frame at 2600 or so. It has been very accurate in my CZ 550.
