I've never had issues with my message indicator.
Beware of thieves, scammers and dishonest members on the "Fire" classifieds. Ya there is a thief here too. Whatever!!
They're all around the CampFire and everywhere.

It is supposed to indicate a new pm, but it doubles as a nsa tracking indicator. Be careful what you type. You have apparently gotten someone 's attention.

I'm the treasurer here, so when you see that flashing envelope thingy, it just means you need to send me $300 (cash is preferred)
and it's used for the beer fund for campfire get togethers
that way once you figure out what a swell bunch of fellers we really are and you wanna attend one of these functions, you've already paid your dues and the boys will welcome you with open arms

There are not more in the whole wide world.
The owner has a spot at the very end of all of the threads
I forget the name, but it there. go to forums, click on that, scroll down to the bottom and look for a menu from the owner.
Ric Bin, he a nice guy, ask him, when he has time maybe this can be figured out for all the new people. Ask, all new people seem to get the flashing light then come to the campfire and ask how to stop it. You could solve this for many. And the other 50,000 could be happy not to see the same thread again and again.
