Found a dead eagle and called the game warden. Not sure what killed it. I think maybe the big golden eagle that lives in the same area might have did it. Me sitting behind the boy and calling for him after I filled my tag. I wish the cirumstances would have worked for him to get the first bird though.

So I signed up for a PB account. Is it normal to take a VERY long time to upload pics?
It does take awhile on computer too.

I like the BBQ competition shows. The one I see the most is called Pit Masters. Cool show but makes me hungry.

Funny phuggers aren't ya?! lol Took the boy out this evening. Thought this was a pretty cool pic. It's a little blind I slapped together for deer hunting last year. I've had Turkeys on trail cam in this area before but no luck tonight.

That thing looks real.
Try the set up with hen dekes, no jake or tom. See what that does for ya. EVERY time I've used toms or jake dekes, I've scared off birds.
Maybe different in your neck of the woods, but mix it up a bit. Did the wind die down there yet?

Being weak willed in the matter of firearms and working part time in a gun/pawn shop seems conducive to "stuff" coming home with me. Today I acquired for a reallllyyyyy GOOD price a Winchester 94 in 30-30 with a 3.6 million serial number which means a manufacture date of 1971.The early seventies were when Winchester committed the awful mistake of using a steel alloy for receivers. This stuff surface rusted and would not take a reblue. It had an awful side mount scope mount with a Tasco 4X.This came off immediately. The receiver has mucho "PATINA". It is what it is. I intend to clean it really good and shoot it iron sighted. I love a good 30-30 and hunt a lot with my 1947 dated Stevens Model 325 bolt action in 30-30. There's just something good about the feel of a good lever gun.

I've been wondering about that. But you have to have birds around to scare off. When I actually see Tom's I get them to gobble on the crow warning call but there has been nothing here. In the fall, they are all over this place.
