Can someone tell me what years that the remington 700s had an A prifix.I have found a 700 ADL in 222 remington with an A prefix that is in verry good shape I was thinking about buying and wondering about what year it was made. Thanks for any help y'all can give.

Thanks chapped lips. That got me what I needed. I went ahead and bought the rifle. It is very clean for its age and I can't wait to shoot it.
