Lots of bullet choices. Can load for subsonic, you can use a can to supress the noise. Or you can load it up to be competitive with a 45-70.
My son shot a musk ox a few years ago with it when he was 12. He shot it well and the recoil is minimal.
Con- brass can be hard to find.

The RRA 458 SOCOM guns tend to be quite accurate too. Saw targets shot by a local guy and those 45caliber holes were one on top of another.
I don't drink or Smoke. I spend my money on gunpowder and gasoline.

one thing about them they do make a 1.5 MOA promise right on their web page. I have always been interested in one but always worried about finding brass for it. For the 25-50 yard deer I take every year it would be about perfect. Wish they made that RRA Beast upper with a SS barrel!

bought a rock river upper and it is more accurate than I expected. I bought it over the 450 bushmaster as it uses 458 bullets and I have those for my 45/70. the cons are that you have to by the brass when it becomes available because it seems like they only make it once a year. the other issue is rock river chose to thread the muzzle 5/8-32 instead of the standard 5/8-24, so muzzle brakes, flash suppressors and noise suppressors are limited.

I understand the new Beast brake from RRA is VERY effective. I read that during preproduction testing it had to be changed because it was actually pushing the barrel DOWN. That's pretty dang effective. LOL.

I just got the new Beast upper from RRA a few days ago. Haven't even shot it yet. The brake does look well designed. I'll report back once I get some loads done and shoot some groups
