If your security forces work ever takes you to Pope or Seymour J, drop a post.

There's a few folks here close by that can take care of you.

BTDT, sooner or later, your going to want a BIG home cooked meal....

I'd wager you could go coast to coast and never set foot in a motel or restaurant...

Durn, you're leaving today.

OK, Taqueria Jalisco on Military just south of the base entrances has decent Tex-Mex. Meawhile head north on Military past Highway 90 and about about a half-mile on the right lies what seems like the only Dunkin' Donuts for like 800 miles.

On the strip outside the Valley Hi gate is the usual McDonald's/Subway/Fast food outlets and an OK Tex-Mex place. Prob'ly the best to eat in the above places if you want to avoid he crowds around the airport on the North Side.

And if ya have ever walked between Lackland and the Medina Base Training Annex as I see people doing all the time that was right in my own AO.

Congrats cool

Congratulations! Shoot me a PM when you get to town and I would be pleased to show you around.

FYI, active duty military people stationed in Wyoming qualify for resident hunting licenses after 90 days residency, as opposed to a full year for others.

Congrats and good luck,

PS

the air force frowns upon shooting antelope on base

Good job Winnie!

Hell that dress blues uniform hasn't changed since I wore em 50 years ago.

Back then you would have been an Airman 2nd and the three stripe was 1st class......but back then we used a service number rather than SSN also.

Your group was the first to get the M16 back in those days....way prior to Army and Marines. The Air Force service rifle prior to the M16 was the M1 Carbine.

Things change.

Winnie - if you pass through here - you're welcome to a bed & a hot meal (maybe even an adult beverage)
