I wasn't sure where to post this. But I was wondering if I can get some advice on reloading machines. Basically reloading 223 and 30 06. How much do you have to spend to get a basic decent machine. What Are some good machines and what sites are trustworthy.? Thx

To start with, try the RELOADING forum here, not the gunsmith forum. Before you do anything else buy a Speer Reloading manual, it doesn't have to be the newest, and READ IT. Then ask questions.

Any good single stage press will work fine. There are lots of opinions here at the fire and several brands of presses have their fans. If I were starting out today, I would buy the Lee Classic Cast press (not the alloy model). The Classic Cast is American made and is a beast. I currently have the Lee Classic Turret press, because I can set my dies in the turret and not have to remove them. I just twist the turret a bit and out it comes. With the two calibers you are going to reload for I am not sure if it would be significant. I regularly load for about 15 calibers.
