Hey Big J, I just took a swig of that braggs ACV with the "mother". (Chunky and cloudy).
It kind of tasted like home made wine that didn't turn out.

Any fishing reports? I fished from 5 until 11:30. One bass, one walleye, no crappies. They're not tucked in tight to the trees yet. 'Boat ran pretty good-the old 18 h.p. Evinrude really pushes my little 14ft. Lund at a good clip.

no fishing here.
was going to spend the day working on the honey-do list,but ended up going out to my metro deer hunting spot and helping the owner cut trees around his house.

Had JR Noduck baseball game today..(coaches pitch)LOL... Nice sunny morning.. Had about 6 boats on the lake this morning.. This afternoon was doing yard work down by the lake, and saw a guy catch a Walter his buddies were fired up for him. Fun to see..

It was really nice just to get out. First time on the water in 10 years for me. Talked to a few guys fishing the same area I was in. Some boats had at least one fish, no body more that that though. 10 years of chasing my daughter around for softball took up all my fishing time. Nice to be out and just see all the critters waking up, hear the boats running down the lake, and smell the water. Putting the boat back together was very therapeutic for me also. Echo in June followed by a consult regarding the defibrillator.

How big was the eyeballer?
The kids and I had a nice day in the woods. We didn't connect yet but they learned some, worked some birds, and had some fun!

Probably about a 2 lbs. fish. Just a nice sized eater. My little boat really scoots with that old 18 hp. Evinrude. Was surprised to see it come up on plane. I set the little angle bar thingie on the transom on the highest notch, and as soon as I opened it up to full throttle the bow flattened out and she really scoots. 'Forgot to turn my cap around backwards and had to go back and fish it out of the lake when it flew off. Just a good day to be out. Did you see any birds?

Special Mother's Day for our family. We got back from a week at Mayo with my mom. They figured out that she had been mis-diagnosed with end stage renal failure. She simply had a lot of health issues going on at once and that brought her kidney function way down. Mayos team sorted it all out after a ton of tests and consultations. We got to know the Mayo and Gonda buildings very well. World class folks at a world class facility. So thank you for all the prayers and kind wishes. That meant a lot. A special lady in our lives has a quite a spring in her step on this special day. We hope you all have a special Mother's Day too!

Great news CFT. This is indeed a special Mothers day for your mom and family. Received a text from one of Tom's kids a couple of hours ago that read, "The turkey got a turkey". Wonder what that meant?

We got skunked fishing but so did all the other guys we talked to. They just were not biting. Not sure if the water is still too cold or what?
