From the Missoula (MT) paper, it seems Remington is initiating a recall of its' Model 700 rifle for trigger issues.

Theres a WHOLE BUNCH wrong with the Xmark Pro triggers, which is what this latest recall is about�.

Seems this time around all they are going to do is clean the excess "glue" and send it back.. Disassemble Remmy 700.. remove trigger.. Install Timney.. Repeat

There is nothing mechanically wrong with the new trigger. Just the possibility of glue getting into the internals during assembly.

The old 1946-2006 trigger is the flawed design that should be replaced.

I was thinking that the trigger itself was breaking because of a screw hole or something like that. miles
