Was going to use for a build but went with a pre-64 Win 70 instead. For sale is a Mark X Mauser action from Interarms. Was a .243 originally but this is a standard size (i.e. 270, 30-06). Excellent shape, bluing is 95%+.

it's a long (standard) action for 30-06, 270, 25-06, etc

Just for info. Some were mid length. --- Mel mid-length meaning what? This had a spacer in the mag box ( I removed it) to accomodate the shorter 243 cartridge but the length is sufficent for a 30-06

I think he means some Yugoslavian actions. 48's etc. No Interarms were ever intermediates that I'm aware of. They were all standard length Mauser actionswith the exceptions of the "mini" Mauser actions.

I could be wrong but I believe the Mark X was also made in the intermediate length . I don't have one however I have a very nice Mark X trigger guard, that fits a Mexican Mauser, that I bought in these classifieds as being off a Mark X. And why not the 24/48s etc. I believe were made in the same place. Again I may well be wrong, I have been before. At anyrate the OP has a fine action for sale --- Mel

Where is the floor plate release on this action? Do you have any photos you could email? Does this have the standard Interarms
