They're starting to emerge.

I didn't see a lot of them, but in a week or so with the warm weather we have forecast - it's gonna pop!

How high up were you? I can't imagine the H-water isn't blooming yet.

I was bank fishing below Rogue Elk Camp Ground a ways.

The bug shell cases are showing on the trees and brush and I saw several crawling around.

The plan is to salmon fish for a few hours, then head for the H/W later in the day.

BTW: H/W river level is as low as I've ever seen it....

Low water up there because of the lack of rain and snow pack. Too bad. It will concentrate the fish but kill some of the bugs. I bet it's going to be white hot fishing though.
