I just finished reading the latest RLN and must say that you and Eileen did a fantastic job on this issue. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the articles and your Down the Barrel and Honest Guns articles were especially enjoyable.

I've tried several of her recipes and have yet to find one I didn't like! The Back Burner was entertaining and made me look in the mirror a little.
Isn't there a book coming out containing all the RLN compiled into one work?
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

Eileen's working on the layout. She thought it would be easier than it turned out to be, because when we started it she didn't know as much about the publishing program she uses. Consequently she's had to go back and fix some things in the earlier issues, including re-inserting many of the photos. But she's on the backstretch now and we hope to have RIFLE LOONY NEWS, THE FIRST FIVE YEARS out by late summer or early fall.
The downside is that my new optics book might be delayed a little. The first draft will be done by the end of May, but Eileen won't be able to do the layout until the RLN book is done. May have the optics book out this fall, but winter/early spring might be more realistic.

Great articles As always and worth much more than I paid. Loved the write-up on the Rebels as I've wanted something nice for my son that've a little more compact than the 6x30 Yosemites.

Eileen said we're also close enough on the RLN book that anybody who wants a copy can send her their e-mail address, and she'll put them on the list for notification when the book's going to be available.
