Was in 3 gun stores today. All 3 had .22LR.
Academy had American eagle for cheap with a 2 box limit
Smaller LGS number one had a wide variety, although at high prices ($12.99 for 100 mini mags or $49.95 for federal blue box bricks, for example)
Smaller LGS number two had Blazers for $2.99 with a one box limit (they've had them every time I have been in there since early march)
I guess if things are easing it is time for Hillary to declare or some terrible mass shooting to happen...

I was at an Academy yesterday and they had a shelf full of Federal Auto Match 325 round bulk packs for $17.99 each.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

Still not seeing any out here.
I know of one LGS that has some but won't sell it to you unless you buy a 22 rifle or pistol.

The last few times I've been into a local gun shop there have been 22lr on the shelf. They have a 2box limit and somewhat inflated prices though. I was there when a older guy came in a was suprised to see the ammo, he bought his two boxes and ran out to get his wife to buy two more. The shop owner got pissed and told him that he was the problem and refused to sell the wife any. Left laughing on the inside.

Was at my local gunshop the last few days, on Friday they had 2 types of Mexican branded ammo, bought one box. Came back on Saturday to trade some unwanted percussion caps, and they had Winchester high velocity hollow points in, got one box, still had lots of the Mexican stuff too. Prices a bit high at $4.95 for the CI Mex. stuff, and $4.60 for the Winchester, but it is looking better with .22 in Austin now. The gun store did have a 4 box limit per customer, but I still have 900 rds at home, so only got one box each per visit to leave for the next guy.
I am waiting for the day that I can get CCI Blazer in bulk 500 Rd. boxes at reasonable prices.

I bought 4 bricks CCI standard Velocity from Palmetto State Armoru for 60.00 a brick. Thats as cheap as I have seen in almost a year. Also bout 3 boxs of Federal Auto match, 325 rds each but they were 40.00 a box. What you gonna do when you need it?

I've bought 4 bricks of Aguila standard velocity over the past couple months, all of it less than $40 a brick, including shipping. It shoots great in several rifles.
The ONLY .22 ammo I've paid more than $35 a brick for since the buying panic started was Eley, and it was around $80.

I picked up my limit of 2 boxes of CCI quiet 22 Saturday at SW. I was so proud to finally be able to buy some again.

22 Ammo is like Jimmy Carter and Gasoline once they get the price up , they will never come back down

I was able to buy 3 boxes of WW 333 hollow points for $17.99 a box at my local Wall Mart. The gougers at the Grants Pass Gun Show had some..... one fella wanted $70 for an old brick of Rem HP's. It was a full 500 rounds, but still way out of this mans line. Also was offered a brick of Stingers in Portland, for $70.... I told them to keep them. .22LR ammo seems to be coming back and I will only buy from folks that refuse to gouge their customers. I also don't go out to the range and burn a brick like I used to - just sighting in and hunting. Shot a mess of ground squirrels a couple of days ago

There will be a fabricated shortage of .17 cal next so they can get those prices up. Think about it, in some places .17 is just as cheap as .22's.

You think that just might be de to the fact that there's not as much demand for .17 rimfire?
Demand and supply is one basic principle of economics, and it's a simple fact that there aren't nearly as many .17 rimfire rifles out there as .22 Long Rifles or.22 Magnums. And FAR fewer .17 rimfire handguns.
Think about it.

22's are coming back around here, in PA just picked up 8 cases today, 4 cases Federal 510 (20,000 rounds) was $19.45 a brick, $194.50 per case, 2 cases CCI Stingers (1000 rounds) $49,65 a case and 2 cases Federal American Eagle (10,000 rounds) $19.79 per brick or $197.90 per case. Seeing a lot of 22's on the gun shop shelves around here, even Bass Pro had a pile of it, they were selling the Federal 510 for $2.45 per box but a 2 box limit, nothing to be had at Wal Mart

I just bought a new Anschutz 1416 HB today so I don't look for my 10 bricks to last long now. Also have about 75 boxes of .17 so I can probably weather the storm.
