What quadrant or constellation will they be radiating from? I don't know if I should sit out front (facing south or east) or out back, facing north or west.

The illustration that I saw placed Camelopardis sorta between the big dipper and Cassiopeia. Looked like if we watch the area right around the north star we'll see anything that may happen with this display. Seems that predictions range from a complete dud to quite spectacular...

I went out for about 10 minutes give or take and saw one meteor. Apparently the direction they are supposed to be heaviest in I don't have a good view of because of the trees.

Well, I saw a few... They seemed to travel a bit more slowly, and I was tempted to wake my wife up and ask where our camera was. Obviously, I am still alive, so that didn't happen...  I do think that a guy might have got some decent pics if he was handy with a camera... One shooting star right around 12:30 left a visible trail for several seconds...
