Does anyone have a Sangean WR-2 Digital AM/FM Tabletop Radio? It has great ratings on Amazon. Do you have any suggestions. Ps I don't know what Bluetooth etc is.

Can't help but I'll save you a trip to radio shack. I went in and asked for a "radio" to keep in my office and the guy said they didn't have a "radio".

I guess but if this town 50% of the people you visit in an office in the field have a regular AM/FM radio because they either don't have internet or it's blocked for whatever they want to listen to the radio on and most of it is normally tuned to local sports talk.

I did tell him maybe he should realise radio was in their name, even tho it really mean HAM radio shack to start.

If it has great ratings at Amazon, why don't you buy it at Amazon?

Radio Shack doesn't sell "radios" - That's funny.
Go on Craigslist and find an old person who will sell their "transistor" complete with unused earplug.

My son had a clock radio that allowed you to switch between radio and an alarm to wake you up. He woke to not too bad music and all was well until he accidentally switched it to the alarm. That alarm sounded very much like a smoke alarm and nearly caused an accident in the sheets when it went off for both of us.

We are quite basic at our deer camp. Transitor radio and battery operated alarm clock. Simple and effective. That's all you need. At home with the wife it's a completely different story. Just glad I have a generator. grin

I like to listen to the radio at night, so I bought the CCrane. Nice radio, and I got one that was refurbished. It still has too many buttons for me. One day I left and forgot to turn off the alarm. When I got home, the plug was pulled, and the batteries were on the bed...no one could figure out how to turn it off. Yep, the good ol' radios with the on/off are gone..They just had to screw up a good thing..

Check the dollar stores either the Family Dollar or the Dollar General. Sometimes Fred's has such things, if there is one around. miles
