I've not done it but I bet you'd be pretty close with 6mm Creedmore data.

Try 6mm XC as your starting point. The 6mm/22-250AI is only .001" longer in the body otherwise identical.

Hodgdon has 6-250 data on their site; I'd start in the middle of the top for parent cartridge for fire forming, then jump to top of parent numbers for load testing w/ formed cases.
I'm getting 3100 fps from a 95 gr VLD in a straight 6-250 using Ramshot Hunter so that may be a good option?
Good luck,
Efw
Ps- PM me your email if you'd like me to forward load data I got from the ballistician @ Ramshot for 6-250

Look at the "6mm International" load data
Come on America, Athletes and actors are not heroes, only soldiers, airmen, marines and sailors get that respectand let's add firemen and LEO's

I'd think 6mm Remington data would be pretty close

Buy a Berger manual. It has 6XC data, which is essentially what you have.

I can use Roberts data for a 250AI so I'd think using 6mm data for a 6/250AI wouldn't be a leap.

I think there are a couple differences between the comparisons that create an issue:
1) there is no 308-based 25 cal, so Bob is nearest whereas we have the 243 in 6mm which is more similar to 6-250 AI capacity-wise
2) SAAMI max pressure for Bob was set low in deference to its chambering in weaker actions while 6mm Rem was designed from the get-go for modern rifles, exaggerating difference
Just a couple of guesses as to why it isn't an apples-to-apples comparison.

Silly me, I just based it on volume.

I shot the 70's at 3800 fps out of a 28"12" twist barrel with zero freebore, case crammed full of 760 using a long drop tube. You won't get anywhere near that out of a fast twist with a long throat, but may give you some idea.
Use tough brass, Lapua, Win.

Im thinkin you are going to need a bigger engine to drive a 105 at 3250fps Yeah I am maxed out in my standard 6-250 @ 3120 fps w/ 95 VLDs. According to Hodgdon site a 243 Win may get you to 3k w/ 105. A 6mm Rem may get 3100 w/ same.

I hate like hell to agree w/him but Steelhead is right. I can guarantee you your ending load will be almost exactly the same as a 6mmRemington load. Especially the closer you get to max. 250AI=257Roberts, 257AI=25-06, 7X57AI=280Remington, 30-06AI=300H&H. powdr
