Lord Jesus, Our friend Roger is facing a really, really tough day. The Dr's say that his mother, the lady that brought him into this world and nurtured him into the man he is, is likely passing on to her reward sometime today. This world and the disease and death that has been present really hurts sometimes,big time. Yet, we know that 1) The Dr's don't know everything, and that you can heal Rogers mom if you so choose. So if it be your will, we ask for this great miracle today. 2)If this is her appointed time, then we ask that you make your presence real and tangible and powerful today. Both in her life and in Rogers. That you would provide to both of them the calm assurance and peace that you said in your word "Surpasses human understanding" Peace! from your presence and the amazing ministry of the Holy Spirit when the circumstances would otherwise say 'anguish' and or 'confusion'. Regardless of the outcome, use today's circumstances and events to draw each and every person involved closer to you. Draw them to yourself Lord God. And as they look to you and seek you, may you be found in abundance and provide a reminder of the great hope we have in you. For you have said in your word that there is soon coming a time when you will personally wipe EVERY TEAR from our eyes. We look forward to that day, but right now we ask for your hand, your mercy and love over Rogers mom and his family as they face this valley. Do not let them face it alone, be their strength and thier hope and ever present comfort and friend. In Jesus name, AMEN
